Rising from the desert foothills of the Coachella Valley, an orange-red monolith rises, much like the monolith from the iconic 2001: A Space Odyssey film.
Entitled ‘Specter’, the fluorescent cube stands in contrast to the light browns and tans of the desert scrub. Part of the Desert X outdoor exhibition, the orange glow of the monolith can be seen for miles around. Created by Sterling Ruby, Via Ignant:
