Japanese sculptor and ceramicist Jun Kaneko resides in Omaha, Nebraska, and makes large-scale, expressive ceramic sculptures. His well known ‘Dango’ form (dumpling or closed form in English) reach over six feet in height, with colorful and expressive glazing, including dots, stripes, and drip techniques. We love his color combinations, and the scale that intensifies the relationship to the art.
