We secretly, sorta sheepishly love a minivan. But this is unlike anything we’ve seen in that regard before.

Lexus invited a group of artists and designers to imagine what the LS could become if it were shaped less by car industry norms and more by the ways people actually live.

What they came up with feels less like a lineup of vehicles and more like a set of ideas about space, comfort, and movement.

Some of the concepts lean into openness and calm, turning the interior into something closer to a private room than a cabin.

Others feel more expressive and sculptural. Across all of them, the interesting part is the shift in thinking: luxury isn’t really about status here so much as ease, flexibility, and having a space that feels made for you.
More than anything, the project suggests that the future of a flagship car may not be one definitive shape. It may be a range of experiences, each built around a different kind of life.
