FastCo Design has a great look at today’s giant cruise ships, as seen from a helicopter flying above them. These floating cities are enormous, and today’s have a mind boggling array of attractions, from multiple pools to mini golf courses, to rock walls and concert halls.

FastCo describes them as “Alien Space Yachts”, which seems like an appropriate title to us.
