This symbolic but also purposeful project in Mexico melts down guns to create shovels, which are then used to plant trees. We love the symbolism of death to life, especially in Mexico, which has dealt with gun violence for years. The brainchild of artist Pedro Reyes, he used over 1,500 donated guns for the project.
