Cinemagraphs are not GIFs, they’re an entirely different type of moving image, and they’ve been used to great effect with these stunning moving images of waves. Armand Dijcks uses the powerful imagery of a wave just as it’s about to break, and sends it into super slow-motion with his cinemagraph technique.
