Who knew that a relatively small strip of green in the middle of one of the largest and busiest cities in the world would be a good spot for birding. We were shocked to hear that not only do birds flock to Central Park, but that there are a large group of devoted birders who follow the migratory paths of all sorts of winged creatures here.

Indeed, there is a series on YouTube called Birds of North America that focuses on the competitive birding that goes on in Central Park. Take a look at the episode below. Via The Verge:
