Delicate sheets of curving glass seems like one of the least likely materials to use for a relaxing chair.

However, Jun Wang is no ordinary artist, and the resulting effect is breathtaking in its soft and glowing appearance.

Entitled Flore, the stunning chair is the winner of the Bronze A’Design Award for 2025, showcasing how unexpected materials can be used in novel and fascinating ways.

The creation of Flore involved advanced glass-blowing techniques, achieving a seamless gradient effect and ensuring structural integrity without compromising its delicate appearance.

The full collection includes the chairs in three different colors, and a very fitting coffee table.

This innovative approach redefines glass as both a material and a medium of organic expression in modern furniture design.  Read more about the creation of this chair on A’Design.
