Architecture firm Studio Saxe has built a daring jungle retreat that is as lofty as it is open to the Costa Rican elements. Created from prefabricated I-beams assembled onsite to minimize the impact on the land.

The home is full of expansive glass views and a huge overhanging roofline. Louvered wall shades made of teak help the house stay cool in the tropical heat.
