We are excited to feature the work of Natalie Ciccoricco again on Moss and Fog. Her newest series reminds us why her art stays with you long after you first see it.

Her approach is thoughtful, simple, and beautifully refined, and this new body of work only deepens that impression.

A woven textile art piece featuring pastel colors with vertical lines and a circular golden center, displayed on textured paper.

Ciccoricco continues to combine handmade paper, yarn, thread, and natural materials in a way that feels both delicate and grounded.

Her recent pieces, including the series titled “Nesting” and “Wrapped,” use color, texture, and line to explore ideas of growth, memory, and emotional change.

A handcrafted art piece featuring layered colorful strings arranged in a rectangular pattern on textured paper, with a natural twig embedded at the center.

Twigs gathered near her home become frameworks for wrapped yarn. Handmade sheets of paper open up space for gentle stitching and subtle geometry.

Each work feels like a quiet conversation between material and intention.

An art piece featuring a delicate woven design on textured white paper, with abstract circular shapes in shades of pink and gold.

In “Nesting,” the forms echo the structures and patterns found in nature. In “Wrapped,” the pieces take on a more intimate tone, turning personal experiences into carefully bound shapes.

There is nothing showy here. Everything is pared down to its essentials. The restraint in her palette and the humility of her materials create work that feels sincere, honest, and timeless.

Four pieces of handmade textile art displayed on a wooden surface, each piece features intricate geometric patterns created with thread and natural materials.

What draws us back to Ciccoricco’s art is this sense of clarity. She works with simple ingredients and turns them into something contemplative and meaningful.

At a time when so much visual culture leans toward excess, her pieces feel like a deep breath.
