These impressive arrangements made entirely of pencils are the work of Afghan Canadian artist Bashir Sultani, and shows his patience and precision, using an unorthodox medium. At first glance, they seem like random arrangements, but once you see the pattern formed by the metal ends, they instantly become recognizable.

Clever and unique work. See more of his impressive sculpture and design work on his Instagram.
