The ‘ol fishfinder can be put on a shelf, it has a new, high-tech replacement with the new PowerRay underwater drone, from PowerVision. Able to dive to 98 feet down, the PowerRay can beam 4K video via wifi to your device on the surface. A sonar device can work as a traditional fish finder, and there’s also an internal luring light, and a bait-release option, making this a powerful, and possibly unfair fight for a fish. Via Engadget:

“Able to dive to 98 feet down..” That’s cool. I never thought the drones technology finally think about underwater drones. I remember James Cameron drone could go or dive into “deep” of the ocean. But, i personally think, for public use, the drone maybe limit the capability such as portray on the picture above.Maybe the drone could follow scuba divers everywhere and capture the video or picture.
Yes! That would be fun, thanks for the comment!
I just put up a post on the Phi Phi Islands tour and am so wishing I had one of these underwater drones with me in Thailand. Sigh!
