Danish architecture firm BIG has revealed their design for the new Hungarian Natural History Museum in Budapest, and it’s a beautiful blend of nature and modern design.

The museum will feature a series of flowing, connected buildings that look like rolling hills. These green-topped structures are meant to blend into the landscape, with rooftop gardens and open-air terraces that help connect the museum to its surroundings.

Inside, the museum will have large, flexible spaces filled with natural light, designed to make exploring fun and inviting.

Visitors will be able to enjoy wide-open views of Budapest while learning about science and nature. BIG’s design is both bold and respectful—honoring Hungary’s history while creating a new, forward-thinking cultural landmark.

Another fantastic design from BIG. Nature and Nurture together. Roof line akin to natural bridges built for animals to cross over highways safely and undisturbed. BRAVO!!!
