The Mighty Scottish Highland Cattle

The Scottish Highland Cattle are an ancient breed dating back to before the 6th century. Weighing up to 1,800 pounds, the breed also has an unusual, long double coat of fur, providing warmth in the frigid highlands where it originated. Able to forage for food that other cattle would pass over, this breed is particularly suited for tough climates.
