Parisian Thibaud Poirier has a beautiful series of his city in the midst of a crackling, brooding thunderstorm, the skies purple and alive. We love the big, building storm clouds, and the way the Eiffel Tower stands as a beacon, almost welcoming, inviting the lightning to come.  Great vantage points and perspective from around the city of lights.

Living on the West coast of the US, we rarely get thunderstorms, so we are envious of these rumbling, cracking storms. Via Behance:
