The UN North Delegates’ Lounge has been open for more than sixty years. It’s just gone through a full redesign, thanks to Hella Jongerius in collaboration with Rem Koolhaas, Irma Boom, Gabriel Lester and Louise Schouwenberg. It’s a fun and inviting space, and will host delegates and dignitaries from more countries than any other lounge in the world. Great work making it inviting and approachable, using custom furniture and work spaces, just in time for the General Assembly. Via Gizmodo:
