Don’t hold your breath. That’s the lesson I’ve taken after 15 years of being a car geek, and seeing the latest and greatest in future concepts.  Occasionally, a concept strikes such a chord with the public that it is quickly developed, albeit in a watered down variety.  Despite the fact that concept cars (show cars meant to demonstrate the future design language and capabilities of the automaker) never make it to the dealers, the detail, craftsmanship and sci-fi elements of these cars are nonetheless very appealing.

Here, the Ford Vertrek and Toyota Prius C concepts. Note the beautiful chair architecture, the expansive roof glass. If only…
