If you’re the highly adventurous type, the Hammerfest Hiking Cabins might be the perfect place to check out.  The Norwegian Trekking Association has created these lovely wooden cabins high in the mountains of Norway. Provided you can brave the cold, you could be in for an amazing treat, with the aurora borealis on full display.  Created entirely with volunteer hours, and with design help from Spinn Architecture, the cabins are a testament to the love of the outdoors, and the willingness to work hard to experience some of the most amazing wonders that nature has to offer.
