Thanks to the gorgeous imagery from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, filmmaker Seán Doran edited a stunning timelapse of the Red Planet, showing us the beautiful details of its sand and craters.

Using images from the orbiter’s HiRISE camera, we see incredible detail that looks as though it was filmed on earth with a drone. But this is an entirely different planet. Incredible.
