This impressive wooden sphere is the project of Keith Williams, and comprises dozens of salvaged knots that he’s saved from various woodworking projects throughout the years.

Claiming he’s never thrown out wood with a knot, this project celebrates the unique forms that trees make, all in a carefully crafted sphere that’s been polished to a high sheen. Impressive form encapsulating both mathematical precision and natural flaws. Via Colossal:
