The humble stick of gum, elevated to an art form.

In a very impressive use of ordinary objects, Sam Kaplan’s Unwrapped series takes the ordinary stick of gum to a new level of sophistication.

Using lots of brightly colored gum and superglue, his structures become something far more impressive, photographed on a stark black background.

There’s a lot to chew on with this geometric project, that’s for sure.  Via Colossal:
