Master surrealist Salvador Dalí shocked the world of art in 1931 when The Persistence of Memory was revealed, showing pocket watches in various states of melting.

The painting remains one of his most famous works, and a staple of the Surrealist genre.

For those that want to embody the relativity of space and time, physical, functional versions of these clocks exist.

The bent, distorted style catches eyes immediately, and doesn’t seem possible.
