We have always loved wooden sculpture, and the warm forms and colors that can result. Artist Aleph Geddis proves this beautifully, with his tactile sculptures that have a geometric and friendly sensibility.

The hand carved and chiseled detailing gives the wooden form a dappled aesthetic that catch the light, and bring a textural emotion to the work.

Inspired by his Pacific Northwest roots, Geddis explores forms that are inspired by northwest coast carvings and the natural world.

“The sculptural works of Aleph Geddis live at the intersection of traditional methods and modernist forms, informed by a lifetime fascination with the foundational structures of our world.”
